#DifferentThinking



We generally come across the discussion and talk more about the Heads who are hard task masters and keep pushing team members to the wall & to the last corner in their routine as a practice with hardly considerations of soft issues of team members who reports into him or her.

I strongly feel that such strategy never yields positive results, maybe temporarily things look brighter but in the long run its more denting not only to the team, organisation but also for the individuals who all believe in this philosophy .

One needs to understand that we are still dealing with human beings whose action are results of their thoughts and emotions unlike machines which act as per standard commands .

The more we push them the more resistance gets generated in their thoughts as no one likes to be controlled. Human beings always look for freedom and suffer restrictions & limitations the most.


  • |Mind and Body functions at its best when they are joyful and not stressed out.
  • The way we feel, the way we think-The way we think , the way we feel.
  • Mind is not capable of thinking good and bad at the same time.


I have experienced this surprisingly other way round and have always come across a beautiful team around which has always been most loving,responsive and  far better than machines because always found them acting without command, going extra miles and beyond the call of duty ultimately exceeding expectations.

Having analysed this to my surprise sounded & seemed very simple rather any rocket science. I could summarize this that if one tries to #find out & care for what team members want in life performance would automatically follow.

The perspective of Heads is always that they expect their team members not only work hard but to exceed the performance that too constantly.

But the question is how to engage team so that they are not only productive but deliver a level which is far than the expectations. This certainly needs a different thinking.



#Find Out What They Want In Life

Do not ask yourself how to get more out of the team instead ask yourself how do I get what people want in life.

Not what they need in their business life but what they need in personal life.

Don't think how this relates to my business. This will come.

#Find Out How To Get Them

Once we discover what is important to them strive harder how to get them what they dream of.

The best way to unlock the potential of the team members is to help them achieve what they value in life. When this happens they start going extra mile at work unconditionally.

The more we make them realize that our efforts are there to help them in life -The more we unlock the potential.

#Different Thinking

Its not about what team does for you but definitely what the company and you do for them. Its not what people do for the business but its about what business does for the people.

People  forget soon what you say but never forget how you make them feel.
